On May 9th and 10th, 2008, Flat Stanley visited the Albertville Home Bakery.  He spent the days there with Nick and Nicole Landers and the rest of the bakery staff.

While at the bakery, Stanley helped do many things:

• He helped Nick bake lots and lots of yummy Chocolate Chip Cookies (and even ate a few for himself)
• He made icing – Lots of it!!  Look at the photo of Stanley in a 50-pound bag of Powdered Sugar!!!
• He helped Nicole decorate cakes with his own tiny little piping bags.  He did flowers for Mother’s Day, a Birthday cake, and even a special “Stanley” cupcake!!!
• On Friday, he got to leave the bakery with Nick and attend an Albertville Civitan meeting.  There he got to meet Dr. Hoerth.
• On Saturday, he helped Nicole so much.  After helping decorate a 3-tiered wedding cake, he went on a delivery!!  Stanley was a huge help with setting the cake up and decorating the table.

Flat Stanley was a huge help in the Bakery.  Even though he is a bit small and very flat, he was able to do some really big jobs.  He is a great friend to have and we hope to see him again soon!!!
